Today, 18th June 2021, Willie Robinson (helped by his wife) cut the ribbon, opening the “Sunshine Cabin”. This building is part of the facilities which includes a poly tunnel, car parking and landscape. It contains all modern conveniences (kitchen, toilets, etc) for the use of the Magheraveely Community Development Association and the local community.
Unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions we had to limit the numbers attending the Opening Day event, but intend to hold another event as soon as conditions allow.
The chairperson Les Graydon thanked the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and Department of Agriculture for funding the project. He also thanked Barry Boyle and staff from Fermanagh Rural Community Network for their hard work.
We are expecting the Sunshine Cabin to be very busy spot in the coming months and years, as COVID permits!
